Detective Jessica Marasco
Jessica Marasco is originally from Trenton, the youngest of seven. Her family owned many bakeries in the Bucks County area where she worked as a young child. She learned the value of hard work and helping the general public from a young age. She has worked at restaurants, the DMV, a police officer on patrol, and most recently a detective in the Domestic Violence Unit. Her entire career has been interacting with the general public and helping people. In 2017, she moved back to New Jersey to Ewing Township and married a man whose family has deep roots in Ewing Township. She loves to help people. If you ask any one of her employers, they will all tell you she is a very hard-working person. What she is not is a politician. She is running for mayor because the opportunity presented itself to her as a chance to help people in this great town of ours. Although it seems she is just a face out there on social media, she has been traveling the town and meeting fellow Ewing residents and business owners to find out what are the concerns or wishes for change in this great township. Some of the most popular responses have been: Taxes, over development, the need for improvement in our parks, transparency, safety in our town, and a need for change in this local government. If she earns your vote for Mayor of Ewing Township, and becomes Ewing’s next mayor, she intends to listen to concerns voiced at town council meetings as well as the wide variety of positive or negative situations that involve the mayor of the town. She plans to solve problems to the best of her abilities, and surround herself with people who are experts in the various aspects of governing a small town to make the best possible township for us all.

Jim Anderson is a 10-year resident of Ewing Township, where he lives with his wife. Prior to moving to Ewing in 2016, Jim relocated to Lawrenceville from Arizona in 1994, and has lived in Mercer County for the past 32 years. He and his wife have a grown son and daughter-in-law living in Massachusetts along with their three grandchildren. Jim retired in 2017 from a local business in Ewing where he was the Operations Manager, to devote more time to ministry and to focus on the well being of the community as a whole.
Jim has been actively involved in the community through his church and local relationships, where he has spent years serving, mentoring, and investing in others. He was called to the pastorate in 2023 and serves as an Assistant Pastor at a church in the Ewing community.
His professional experience required him to make sure the business ran efficiently day-to-day and trained him to turn strategy into execution.
His ministry and community experience has equipped him with strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, along with a deep commitment to serving others.
He believes strong communities are built not just through government, but through neighbors who care for one another and take pride in where they live.
He is running for Township Council to bring a common-sense, balanced approach to local government—one that prioritizes responsible spending, transparency, and public safety. Jim believes residents deserve to know how their tax dollars are being used and to have confidence that their local government is working for them.
His priorities include maintaining a disciplined, transparent budget, ensuring police and EMS are fully staffed and supported, growth that works for residents—not against them, and preserving Ewing as a safe and affordable place to live.
Jim is committed to being a steady, practical voice on council—focused not on politics, but on serving residents and strengthening the community for today and for future generations.
Dr. John Wesley Brown II
Dr. John Wesley Brown II
Dr. Brown was born in Galveston Texas and grew up in Bucks County PA. He attended Gettysburg, Princeton, and St John’s.
He has done clinical work with patients in a number of hospitals and psychiatric hospitals and clinics and has had a private practice in clinical psychology and behavioral neuroscience for over 25 years. He is a US military Veteran and also a consultant for the VA.
